1. What This Website Is

This private reference site has no government connection. It neither stores official records nor files documents, retrieves records, or performs official checks for visitors.

Its purpose is to identify Lee County custodians such as LCSO, the Lee Clerk, FDLE, and the Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators Search, while also linking to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools against the pages
• Make hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions from site content
• Violate federal, Florida, or local law while using the site
• Disrupt service or interfere with another visitor’s access
• Attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
• Use information to threaten, stalk, or harass another person

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No site or linked-tool information may be used to stalk, intimidate, threaten, harass, or discriminate. Misuse may also violate law. Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators Search information is published for public-safety awareness, not vigilantism, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination, and users must obey the registry’s restrictions.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check for an FCRA-covered purpose must be obtained through an FCRA-compliant screening provider or the appropriate official FDLE process.

5. No Legal Advice

Site explanations are not legal advice and cannot determine how a warrant, conviction, charge, sealing rule, or expunction rule applies to an individual matter. Consult a Florida-licensed attorney for that guidance.

6. No Warranties

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges may be filed or dismissed, and records may later be sealed, expunged, or corrected. Because gaps are unavoidable, nothing here is an official statement by LCSO, the Lee Clerk, FDLE, or another government body.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links to government offices, legal-aid organizations, court portals, and outside search services lead to platforms we do not control. Their availability, content, data practices, and prices are their responsibility; review their terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Lee County Criminal History or its content partners own the site’s text, logos, graphics, and code. Written permission is required to copy, alter, distribute, or create derivative material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for damages arising from site use, including reliance on this content or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your site use or breach of these terms, including associated legal costs and fees.

11. Governing Law

Florida law governs these terms, including applicable protections under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, Fla. Stat. §§ 501.201–501.213. Any dispute arising from site use must be brought in a court located in Florida. Public records are governed by Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, and FDLE criminal-history dissemination by Fla. Stat. § 943.053; those laws do not turn this private site into a government records custodian.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms, and a revision becomes effective when posted to this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect, and the affected provision is modified only as far as necessary to make it enforceable.
